Vineyard Paintings & Wine Country Art
There is something I love about vineyard landscapes… the rhythm of the rows, the changing light, the old architecture, the distance of hills or sea, and the way the entire landscape shifts with the seasons.
My vineyard paintings are inspired by wine-country places and memories rather than strict documentation of a single location. I’m especially drawn to autumn palettes, warm earth, burgundy, rust, ochre, olive, blue-gray and the contrast between cultivated land and the landscape beyond it.
Painted with palette knife and heavy impasto, each piece is built through broad marks, layered texture and movement, keeping the work expressive rather than overly literal.

Where the Vines Meet the Sea
36 x 48 x 1.5 inches
Inspired by coastal wine country in autumn, this original palette-knife painting brings together rich vineyard color with cooler blues in the distance. Burgundy, rust, ochre and olive move through the foreground while the landscape opens into a softer, atmospheric horizon.
Original Vineyard Paintings
This is a developing body of work inspired by vineyards, wine regions, coastal growing areas, autumn landscapes and meaningful places around the world.
New original vineyard paintings will be added here as they become available.

Commission a Vineyard Painting
I also accept a limited number of private commissions inspired by meaningful places.
A vineyard commission might be based on a favorite winery, family property, wedding location, anniversary trip, memorable wine-country vacation, or another landscape with personal significance.
Working from your photographs and references, I can create an original painting in my palette-knife style while keeping the finished piece atmospheric, expressive and distinctly yours.
