Lisa Elley creates large-scale original palette knife paintings and custom commissions for private residences, collectors, and interior design projects throughout California and across the United States. Inspired by California’s coastal landscapes, Monterey Bay, sailboats, working waterfronts, harbor scenes, wildflowers, and the Pacific coastline, each commission is created as an original interpretation of a place or subject with personal meaning. Whether you’re looking for a statement-sized landscape, a custom waterfront scene, or a painting inspired by a favorite place, commissions are accepted on a limited basis.

All commissioned works are created on archival-quality, gallery-wrapped canvas using professional-grade oil paints. Each piece features painted sides for a clean, modern finish and arrives wired and ready to hang (framing not included).

Please allow 6 to 10 weeks for completion, depending on Lisa’s current schedule and the required dry time for oils.

Visualize Your Commission

Choosing the perfect painting is easier when you can see it in your own space. As part of the commission process, Lisa creates complimentary digital mock-ups using a photo of your room, allowing you to preview the artwork at scale before painting begins. It's a simple way to refine size, placement, and composition with confidence, ensuring the finished piece feels as though it was created especially for your home.

Commission Pricing

Original commissions are available in a range of sizes, with pricing beginning at $800. Larger and custom-scale paintings are quoted individually. A 50% deposit reserves your commission, with the balance due prior to shipping or delivery.
