About the Artist

I’m a painter based in California, working in heavily textured oil with a palette knife. My practice centers on light, atmosphere, and the physical presence of paint, the way color and surface can hold a sense of place.

I paint atmospheric coastal scenes and studies of places, returning daily to the studio to build work through layered impasto. The rhythm of painting is central to my life: observation, repetition, and the slow refinement of craft.

My work is collected internationally and held in private collections worldwide. I live and work in the Monterey Bay Area, where the landscape continues to shape what I see and paint.
