Where the Vines Meet the Sea is inspired by California’s coastal wine country, where rolling vineyards stretch toward distant water and the landscape shifts between warm earth and cool Pacific light.
Rich burgundy, coral, rust, ochre and olive move through the foreground vines, while softer blue-gray and lavender tones open into the horizon beyond. Thick palette-knife texture gives the piece movement and depth, with the warmer fall color concentrated through the vineyard and quieter passages leading the eye toward the sea.
