Inspired by the spectacular coastline of Pebble Beach Golf Links in California, Pebble Beach, Pacific Light captures the beautiful meeting of manicured greens, rugged coastal rocks, and the ever-changing Pacific Ocean.
Rolling waves sweep toward the shoreline, while the distant mountains fade into soft blue and lavender tones. Rich slate blues, earthy burgundies, warm creams, and fresh greens bring depth and movement to the scene.
Painted entirely with palette knives in my signature impasto technique, this original oil painting features thick, expressive strokes that give the crashing surf and rocky coastline a wonderful sculptural quality.
I particularly love the contrast between the peaceful sweep of the golf course and the wild energy of the ocean. It’s such a quintessential Pebble Beach view, where two very different landscapes come together so beautifully.
