There’s something about the California coast on a quiet afternoon, when the light turns silvery and the shoreline seems to stretch on forever.
Silver & Shore captures one of those lovely, unhurried moments by the sea. Soft mineral blues, warm sandy neutrals, and touches of earthy olive come together in thick, expressive palette knife strokes. Gentle waves roll toward the beach, seabirds drift overhead, and two small figures wander along the water’s edge.
I wanted this painting to feel spacious and peaceful, with plenty of movement in the water and texture in the landscape, while keeping that beautiful softness of coastal light.
