Painted on location during a quiet morning along the Monterey Bay coastline, this plein air study captures the wildflowers that grow along the bluffs above the Capitola beach. Their soft white and yellow blooms lean toward the ocean breeze while the waves roll in below, layered in cool blues and seafoam whites.
