The deep navy and indigo tones echo the power of the sea, while soft creams and earthy ochres bring sand and weathered cliffs. Using only a palette knife, I leaned into the raw texture with thick, layered strokes that mirror the wildness of the coast. This piece is about movement, memory, and the visceral pull of the ocean, how it lives inside you, even when you're far away.

With Where Sky Meets Sea, I wasn’t trying to paint a perfect view, I wanted to paint how it feels to stand there, wind in your face, watching the waves, senses alive. The deep navy and indigo pull like the tide, while soft creams and ochres hint at sand and sunbaked cliffs. I used only a palette knife, letting the texture stay rough and raw, which suits the coastline itself. It’s really about the movement and the memory. That peaceful feeling the ocean leaves in you, after you’ve walked away.
