The vibrant turquoise blue of the Pacific ocean in Big Sur California creates a colorful vista as the cliffs give way to the swirling waters in the hidden coves. Inspired by the gorgeous view North in the Garrapata State Park, near Carmel​, this piece features a rich palette of coastal hues.

"Tourmaline Tide" is an original oil painting on canvas, created in Lisa's signature deep impasto style. The thickly applied and large kinetic palette knife strokes create an explosion of movement and color, which sends the eye roving around the canvas.
