In the 400 mile Eastern Sierra Nevada mountain range of California, the aspens and birch trees blaze with color in the early fall. East of the Yosemite National Park can be found groves of spectacular quaking aspens and silver birch trees that just light up the surrounding countryside. This particular grove was near the idyllic little town of June Lake, north of Bishop.
