This painting was inspired by my frequent trips to the Monterey Bay. One of my favorite locations is the Moss Landing Beach, south of San Francisco and Santa Cruz. It's a dreamy and mystical location, with plenty of fishing and sailing boats traversing the inlet, along with typical California wildlife and wildflowers. Perfect!
