A deep impasto palette knife painting in oil by an award winning San Francisco Bay artist, featuring a colorful and textured large landscape painting.
This painting was inspired by my favorite vista in Big Sur, California. As you drive South on the Pacific Coast Highway, you happen across the famous and historic Bixby Bridge.
Built in 1932, the bridge soars majestically above the cliffs, and the wildflowers dance in the foreground. In this instance, Pacific Coast Irises weave up toward the sky. I had been dreaming of this painting, and planning it for many months prior to embarking upon it, and I am in love!
